Founder at AccountAbility Mobile App
Nancy H. Meyers is an attorney who founded AccountAbility Tech, LLC in 2020. As an estate attorney for the past 16 years, Nancy has worked with individuals and families who are facing the challenges of managing the care and finances of elderly or cognitively impaired individuals. Whether advising court-appointed guardians or agents under powers of attorney, Nancy has seen caregivers struggle with managing financial and medical records, and being called upon to report information to courts, government agencies, nursing homes, and other family members.
She designed the AccountAbility mobile app to address all of these issues and to guide caregivers through the myriad of challenges they face when they step up to assist someone in need.

The moment a person acts on behalf of an elderly or cognitively impaired adult, he or she becomes personally accountable for those actions. The accountable person is nervous and uncertain about how to do the right thing because there is rarely any guidance provided. This responsibility is daunting because failing to act properly or maintain accurate records can result in personal financial liability, accusations of wrongdoing, time in court, fines and family conflict.
The AccountAbility mobile app is the tool that takes the fear and uncertainty out of being responsible for someone else’s finances and medical care. It is the only product that promotes compliance with legal obligations by educating users about how they are accountable. It organizes information, compiles the data needed to complete state and federally mandated reports, allows for neutral communication and transparency among family members, and maintains the information if someone else needs to take over the responsibility.
